The I’D combines the functions of a self braking descender with those of a belay device.
Suitable for ropes 10 mm to 11.5 mm (Yellow and Black). Designed for use in rescues and rope access work for independent or assisted descent. Double locking action that locks the device if you let go of the lever, but also locks the device if you over pressure the lever. A safety catch allows the rope to be inserted and removed without unclipping from the harness karabiner. Normal working load 30 to 150 kg. Individually tested. CE marked EN 341 class A.
