Workplace injuries and deaths are a serious cause of concern in Australia. Due to the manner in which these statistics are recorded it is difficult to determine the number of deaths / injuries that occur in confined spaces in Australia. However, international statistics indicate that the majority of confined space fatalities result from unplanned rescue attempts.

5th Point offers the nationally recognised RIIWHS202E Enter and Work in Confined Spaces unit of competency, in a one-day course (approximately 8 hours), to businesses and individuals.
