The SKYLOTEC ActSafe ACX/ICX Power Ascender Training (Lifting Goods) course provides participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely operate the ActSafe ACX/ICX battery-powered rope ascender for load lifting applications.

The training covers equipment inspection, system setup, operational procedures, risk assessment, emergency functions, and basic rescue considerations, with a strong focus on safe work practices and manufacturer-recommended operating techniques. Upon completion, participants will be able to confidently use the ActSafe ACX/ICX to improve efficiency and safety when working at height, in confined spaces, and during industrial rope access operations.

This is a half-day course for individuals and businesses.

Prerequisites

There are prerequisites and recommendation for this course:

  • Hold a valid Working Safely at Heights certificate
  • Knowledge of working at heights or rope access systems
  • Experience using personal fall protection equipment
  • Appropriate fitness to participate in practical activities
