CONGRATULATIONS ON CHOOSING A GLOBAL WIND ORGANISATION (GWO) ACCREDITED TRAINING PROVIDER FOR YOUR TRAINING NEEDS.
5th Point is accredited by the Global Wind Organisation (GWO) to deliver GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) and GWO Basic Safety Training Refresher (BSTR). The course is delivered by our experienced and qualified instructors, bringing a depth of knowledge and expertise to our candidates. Our purposely designed facilities will ensure a safe and controlled environment to undertake the course.
Our GWO modules are delivered in accordance with the following GWO Basic Safety Training Standard:
- GWO BST First Aid
- GWO BST Working at Heights
- GWO BST Fire Awareness
- GWO BST Manual Handling
GWO Basic Safety Training Initial
GWO Basic Safety Training Refresher
Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will be awarded GWO certification for Basic Safety Training. Results will be recorded on the GWO global database WINDA.
In addition to GWO certification for Basic Safety Training (BST), students may wish to simultaneously undertake the below Nationally Recognised Units of Competencies, and upon successful completion, be awarded a Statement of Attainment*. Training and assessment delivered on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909.

This course will included the following Units of Competencies:
- RIIWHS2024E Work Safely at Heights
- HLTWHS005 Conduct Manual Tasks Safely
- HLTAID009 Provide CPR
- HLTAID010 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
*Please note, the above nationally recognised units of competency require pre-course work to be completed prior to attending the GWO Basic Safety Training course.
