5th Point is accredited by the Global Wind Organisation (GWO) to deliver GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) and GWO Basic Safety Training Refresher (BSTR). The course is delivered by our experienced and qualified instructors, bringing a depth of knowledge and expertise to our candidates. Our purposely designed facilities will ensure a safe and controlled environment to undertake the course.

Our GWO modules are delivered in accordance with the following GWO Basic Safety Training Standard:

  • GWO BST First Aid
  • GWO BST Working at Heights
  • GWO BST Fire Awareness
  • GWO BST Manual Handling

GWO Basic Safety Training Refresher

Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will be awarded GWO certification for Basic Safety Training. Results will be recorded on the GWO global database WINDA.

In addition to GWO certification for Basic Safety Training (BST), upon successful completion of this course, all students will be awarded a Statement of Attainment for the Nationally Recognised Units of Competency that you will be simultaneously undertaking*. Training and assessment delivered on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909.

  • RIIWHS2024E Work Safely at Heights
  • HLTWHS005 Conduct Manual Handling Tasks Safely
  • PUASAR022 Participate in Rescue Operation
  • UEECD0007 Apply Work Health and Safety Regulations, Codes and Practices in the Workplace*
  • HLTAID009 Provide CPR
  • HLTAID010 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
  • HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
  • CPPFE2005 Demonstrate Fire Attack Firefighting Equipment
  • UETDRMP007 Perform Rescue from a Live Wire Voltage Panel*

*Please note, UEECD0007 Apply Work Health and Safety Regulations, Codes and Practices in the Workplace unit of competency is a pre-requisite for UETDRMP007 Perform Rescue from a Live Wire Voltage Panel unit of competency.
