IRATA ROPE ACCESS TRAINING COURSE – SYDNEY

Our strictly selected IRATA Level 3 / i Instructors, and registered IRATA Trainee Instructors are experts in the field of industrial rope access, and through their site and training expertise will ensure you have an informative and enjoyable training course in a safe, controlled environment. Candidates will be required to sign a Medical Declaration Form prior to the commencement of training.

 

The course consists of 4 days of training followed by 1 day of assessment by an independent IRATA Assessor (5 days total).

All levels of IRATA training are available during our courses.

You MUST bring your up-to-date IRATA logbook with you on the first day of training (New Level 1’s exempt). Failure to present a correctly filled-out IRATA Logbook for upgrades and re-validations will result in the inability to complete the course and the full course fee will be forfeited.

Description

IRATA LEVEL 1 TRAINING

The IRATA Level 1 is designed to take candidates with no previous experience through all training and examination requirements to be a qualified IRATA Level 1 Technician over a period of 5 days. Candidates will be required to sign a medical declaration form prior to commencement of training. Minimum age of 18 required, and an aptitude for working at heights.

All the necessary personal protective equipment will be provided for the duration of the course. You will receive a comprehensive training manual, which will act as a valuable reference tool whilst working in the industry. Through our knowledge and presence in the industry our staff can put you in touch with many employing companies to help you in gaining your first employment within the rope access industry.

IRATA LEVEL 2 Training

This course is designed to take candidates with sufficient industrial rope access experience through all the training and examination requirements to be a qualified IRATA Level 2 Technician over a period of 5 days. Candidates will be required to sign a medical declaration form prior to commencement of training.

Level 1 candidates who wish to upgrade to IRATA Level 2 must have a minimum of 1000 hours logged, covering a variety of work tasks over a minimum period of twelve months since achieving IRATA Level 1 qualification, and their Level 1 qualification must also be current to be able to attend a Level 2 Training Course. A valid, up-to-date IRATA Logbook must also be presented.

IRATA Level 3 Training

This course is designed to take candidates with sufficient industrial rope access experience through all the training and examination requirements to be a qualified IRATA Level 3 rope access technician over a period of 5 days.

IRATA Level 2 candidates wishing to upgrade to the IRATA Level 3 should have a minimum of 1000 hours logged covering a variety of work tasks over a minimum period of twelve months since achieving IRATA Level 2 qualification before being eligible to sit the Level 3 Training Course. Their Level 2 qualification must also be current to upgrade. A valid, up-to-date IRATA Logbook must also be presented.

From 16th November 2023, IRATA have introduced an IRATA Level 3 Online Theory Exam The online exam is for Level 3 technicians ONLY. All Level 3’s (upgrade and revalidation) will be required to complete this theory exam on Assessment Day, invigilated by an IRATA Assessor.
