EDELRID Fuse and Defuser Rescue Backup Device

The EDELRID FUSE and Rescue Defuser has an integrated centrifugal brake and cam locking function which ensures smooth progress up or down the belay rope and can be parked as needed to prevent wind from pulling rope through on windy days. The device can be removed from the rope with out the need to remove the carabiner eliminating the possibility of dropping while working at heights performing rope to rope transfers. The Edelrid Fuse back up device is ideal for rope access, rescue technicians or other work where a mobile fall arrestor may be useful.
