5th Point is accredited by the Global Wind Organisation (GWO) to deliver GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) and GWO Basic Safety Training Refresher (BSTR). The course is delivered by our experienced and qualified instructors, bringing a depth of knowledge and expertise to our candidates. Our purposely designed facilities will ensure a safe and controlled environment to undertake the course.
Our GWO modules are delivered in accordance with the following GWO Basic Safety Training Standard:
- GWO BST First Aid
- GWO BST Working at Heights
- GWO BST Fire Awareness
- GWO BST Manual Handling
GWO Basic Safety Training Initial
GWO Basic Safety Training Refresher
Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will be awarded GWO certification for Basic Safety Training. Results will be recorded on the GWO global database WINDA.
In addition to GWO certification for Basic Safety Training (BST), all students will be awarded, upon successful completion of this course, a Statement of Attainment for the Nationally Accredited Units of Competency that you will be simultaneously undertaking. As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 41274), 5th Point will be delivering and assessing the following units of competencies:

- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
- RIIWHS2024E Work Safely at Heights
- PUASAR032 Undertake Vertical Rescue
- HLTWHS005 Conduct Manual Handling Tasks Safely
